Interview with Burt, Daniel and David

JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Burt: white tees and clothes given by county black and grey
Daniel: The uniforms, or shorts and t-shirts.
David: You were give pair of pants and pull over shirt. The pants had no pockets, no buttons. The shirt had one pocket for your I.D. They were all white.

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Burt: striped black/grey top &bottom. rubber slip ons
Daniel: Yes, they were the standard black and white stripes.
David: No just what we were given

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Burt: orange/white striped for high demand inmates and pregnant women
Daniel: No, there was no picking and choosing, you got what you were given.
David: You could get an extra T-shirt or pair of gym shorts from the commissary.

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Burt: no,
Daniel: No, the only difference was trusties. They had blue uniforms instead of the normal black and white.
David: It was all men where I was.
